When asked if I have a platform, I can only answer that I have a few facts. I will not stand up and continue to debate the same issues that have been debated for generations. Debating with a politician is like crapping in one hand and wishing in the other which results in nothing getting accomplished but the same old crap. It is time we realize we can no longer spend years studying, debating and researching the issues. It is time to use our elbow grease and get the work done. When you have a flat tire, you don't call in advisers to figure things out, you either change the tire or call someone who knows how. As a candidate, I am an individual who knows how to change a tire as well as change it for others. Getting a little elbow grease has never scared me away.
We have over 69,000 unemployed citizens in Idaho. If an individual wants to work give them a shovel and put them to work. Give another citizen a tree to plant. goe even further, give another a job growing and harvesting the tree. Do you get my point? Follow this analogy to its final conclusion; there are many more individuals who can be put to work before the fruit reaches your table. Why do we find it so hard to put people to work? We must not create new government desk jobs to solve the problem. We could leave the government status quo or reduce the size of government and make it more sufficient. We don't need to hire more government workers, we need to elect citizens who can manage and make real changes.
The government over time has crippled our industries. Let us rebuild them to make them more efficient and cost affective. Let us open back up our old buildings and factories and bring back our textile plants, our canneries and our smelters. We can be self sufficient if we choose to be. We must log our federal forest but do so with diligence and good logging practices. These trees belong to Idaho and not the Federal Government which has proven time and again how they mismanage everything they touch. Lets divert the flood waters around Shoshone and other areas which we can utilize to irrigate our dry lands. These initatives will create countless jobs year around.
I ask you to stand beside me and fight beside me to accomplish these goals together on common ground without our Political BS and governments constant procrastination. It's not time to be sitting at home or in a bar crying in your beer. It is time to get off your butt and join me. If you don't want to stand up for your rights and fight to bring Government back into control or to voice your opinions then keep sitting down. I want men and women who are willing to give their all for Idaho and America. In my opinion when you ride the fence, or just spew hot air with no action you are as worthless as the bore hog who is trying to nurse it's siblings of which I equate with most of the politicians of today.
Elect me your Governor and I will not fill your heads and hearts with sweet political BS. I will give you the hard truth. It's not my job to change our Government, it's your job as citizens. I will serve to enforce your will and not mine.
Please put "We the People" back in our State and Federal Governments. Lets do away with the "We the Party of Politics as Usual" and stand proud to be Americans. Do not be afraid to stand up and give those who talk bad about our State and Country a bloody nose. I am willing to fight for my Country and my God, are you?
