Boondoggle or Dead Horse?
Our state house was in session discussing our road repair and its tax needs. Was our Governor in a basketball game, with double over time, or were they having another division between republicans and democrats.
The vehicles we drive are fossilized fuel burning dinosaurs. Our roads have become over sized broken down potholed trails
Our representatives has put a banded on these problems, at our expense, for to long
Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger of California has taken control of cleaning up his stated smog problem. Governor Schwarzenegger has the internal fortitude to tackle their problems head-on. Governor Schwarzenegger has not only taken steps to clean up the air, he has not just taken a few steps but taken great leaps and bounds to move his state forward. Governor Schwarzenegger sees a future of clean air for our children and us. Governor Schwarzenegger is a man with a vision, and is not afraid to fight to get it accomplished.
We of Idaho do not have the problems California has. If we do not act now we are headed towards a similar scenario.
Now is the time to think future, now is time to think ultra future and it is time to leave dinosaurs behind. We are not a large state we are a strong state. We have the technical knowledge, the man power and the recourses to accomplish a revolutionary change.
Idaho, we are being held captive by car corporations and the fuel corporations!
Do you want out from under their thumb? Then you have to act now! You have to make a decision! Do you want new and less expensive ways to get to work and travel? Do you want to see a future were you no longer worry about high energy bills? Then we must act now and not let our state officials get us in to another quagmire. What I propose will not be liked, as some of us are stuck in the good old days.

Here are some of my proposals:
With our new technical advances, I believe we can put a monorail system between Caldwell, Nampa and Boise. This system wood greatly cut down the traffic between these cites. This would cut down on road construction and maintenance. This will also allow the workers that lose there the jobs on road work, to work on the monorail.
The first stage of my plan will be to build electric cars, and put these in the city limits of Boise, Nampa and Caldwell. These cars will be used by city, state and all other officials, again cutting down for our needs for gas vehicles. We can build these cars here in Idaho with the human and technical recourses we have in our state. The power to operate these cars will be from solar and wind generated stations. I also feel with production of the cars we could put in parking lots out side the city were gas vehicle can be park and electric cars can be picked up to drive in the city. We can build electric cars for less than Ten thousand dollars; I also feel we can modify small foreign cars to electric for a minimal cost. It is my plan to utilize the knowledge of our senior citizens to alleviate the high cost of professional engineers and corporations. We can also put the people on welfare to work in our factories to produce cars. People on welfare are proud to work when they are given incentives to work, who wants to go to work and get off welfare if you make more staying on welfare, it doesn’t behoove people to work if they get further in the hole. It is not the people that are lazy it is the matter of economic strife to feed your family. I want to see wind generators placed on private homes, office buildings to help lower the cost of electricity in our state. Also when feasible, to put solar systems on our offices, state buildings and our private homes. I think all new homes being built should have a wind generator or a solar system by law and this can be state sponsored. Wind generated systems to maintain an average home to cost less than five thousand dollars.
Another program I would like to install has to do with flooding throughout our state. We need to build small canals to divert the flood water such as in Shoshone Idaho. The electric companies say they own all the water but when towns such as Shoshone or Idaho Falls are flooded do you see them take claim to the damage? I feel that the canals can be set up with hydro electric generators which are transferred to those cities for use in their hospitals, city buildings, and Senior citizens homes and to the private sectors. Another technical logical break through is the magnetic generator. Australia uses 10 percent of these magnetic generators in the outback. They have a very low purchase price. In my opinion these will eventually out mode both solar and wind, they use no fuel. These for means are creating energy for our use, have very minimal impact on our ecological systems. This will not only give us clean air but clean earth. It is then up to us not to just build but also to recycle, all parts motors, electrical systems. With the new technical improvements in batteries it will be feasible for less cost to make our solar energy more efficient in the future. Wouldn’t it be nice to stop at a solar recharging station instead of a gas station? You will still have your maintenance, recharging stations and your convenient stores. So this will not cost anyone their jobs, it will add jobs. If we can provide low cost energy for our vehicles along the interstate highways people will drive gas free vehicles. We must make sure that the government and corporations do not use this as another means to bleed our pocket books, it is up to us the people to control our government.
With the diverted flood waters we can maintain new reservoirs to air agate our desserts, we can plant new crops, fruit trees to generate revenue for a cash flow. This will help build our generate systems and our electric systems and to pay our work force. We can utilize our South American workers, our unemployed, our senior citizens and our welfare recipients to maintain work, to control, and to manage these fields of crops. This in turn lowers the cost to the state. I believe these fields and orchards should be managed by the people of Idaho. The electricity generators in the canals will be used to operate the field equipment, buildings and all electrical equipment to be used with no gas vehicles or portioned to the job. Our Harvest should be used for sale to maintain these farms a portion to be put away for emergency use to be rotated every year and the rest of the goods to be used for the people of Idaho.
Franklin County has a Hydro generation plant for electricity which is owned and controlled by Idaho Power. We have no say in its operation or its use. We also have several year around creeks that we can build small hydro generators which is feasible and could operate all our electricity needs in Franklin County. Idaho electric companies would not lose any water; we would not divert any water so why will they not allow us to divide very low cost energy to our citizens. The excess energy we create can be transferred to their power grid this creating less expensive electricity to Nevada and California.
There are another means I would like to use such as light rail to bring in goods from eighteen wheelers. This will stop heavy traffic in the cities
To sum this up, we must take a step forward now. We can not accomplish these goals over night, if we don’t not start now we will never accomplish these goals, we must take our first steps these are the hardest. We must create a clean environment for ourselves and our prosperity. Ten years from now, the next generation can look back at us and say why we were so ignorant in the way we lived.
Let’s clean up our act and our earth.
